About
Kuroko's Basketball (Kuroko no Basuke) is a legendary sports manga written and illustrated by Tadatoshi Fujimaki. The story revolves around the Teiko Middle School basketball team, famous for producing five basketball prodigies known as the Generation of Miracles. However, there existed a mysterious phantom sixth man who specialized in team assists and tactical misdirection.
Tetsuya Kuroko, this former shadow player, enters the newly established Seirin High School. He meets Taiga Kagami, a gifted forward returning from America with explosive power and ambition. Recognizing Kagami's potential, Kuroko pledges to act as his shadow to make Kagami the ultimate light of the court and help Seirin reach the national championship.
Together, the duo leads Seirin's basketball team through intense high school tournaments, taking on each member of the Generation of Miracles now leading rival powerhouse schools. Each rival possesses extraordinary, god-like skills, forcing Kuroko and Kagami to continually evolve their teamwork, tactics, and mental grit.
