About the Manga
Raku Ichijo is a high school student who happens to be the sole heir to a powerful Yakuza family. Despite his background, Raku wishes for nothing more than a normal life and an ordinary career.
His quiet life changes when he collides with Chitoge Kirisaki, a transfer student and daughter of the boss of a rival gang known as the Bee Hive. To prevent a bloody war between their factions, their fathers force Raku and Chitoge to pretend to be lovers.
Adding complexity to the arrangement, Raku holds a locked pendant given to him ten years ago by a girl he promised to marry. He secretly harbors feelings for his classmate Kosaki Onodera, who might hold the key to that very lock.
As more girls with mysterious keys enter Raku's life, the fake relationship gradually brings genuine emotions, comic misunderstandings, and touching moments of youth.
