About the Manga
Marriage Toxin is a high-adrenaline action romantic comedy created by writer Joumyaku and artist Mizuki Yoda. The story centers on Gero, a young assassin belonging to a legendary clan of poison specialists operating in the underworld.
Because Gero has lived his entire life in the shadows, he has zero experience in romance. However, when his clan threatens to force his sister into an unwanted political marriage to secure an heir, Gero resolves to find a wife himself.
Gero partners with Mei Kinosaki, a brilliant cross-dressing marriage matchmaker whom Gero was originally hired to eliminate. Kinosaki agrees to act as Gero's marital advisor, coaching him through high-stakes dates amidst deadly battles against rival assassination clans.
