About This Series
Set in the energetic district of Shibuya, Tonkatsu DJ Agetaro tells the unconventional story of Agetaro Katsumata, the third-generation heir to a traditional pork cutlet diner. Uninspired by his daily kitchen chores, his perspective changes completely after a chance food delivery leads him inside a high-energy nightclub.
Mesmerized by the resident DJ's ability to control the crowd's energy, Agetaro makes a surprising revelation. He notices that the precision required to fry crispy cutlets perfectly aligns with the rhythm and timing of mixing tracks on a turntable.
