Assassination Classroom

Assassination Classroom is a hugely popular shonen manga series written and illustrated by Yusei Matsui. The Japanese government promises a massive financial reward to any student in Class 3-E who manages to assassinate their teacher before graduation. The students nickname their new instructor 'Koro-sensei', a play on words meaning unkillable teacher.

Despite his incomprehensible speed and terrifying capabilities, Koro-sensei proves to be an exceptionally attentive and compassionate educator. He tailors his teaching methods to each student's unique abilities, helping them overcome academic hurdles and personal insecurities. As the school year progresses, the bond between the students and their target deepens into profound mutual respect.

Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2016, Assassination Classroom received widespread critical acclaim and commercial success.
