About the Manga
Created by Hiroshi Gamou, Super! Luckyman is a legendary superhero gag manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump during the 1990s. The story revolves around Yoichi Tsusuitachi, an extraordinarily unlucky middle school boy who transforms into the cosmic hero Luckyman.
Unlike conventional heroes who rely on physical strength, martial arts, or intelligence, Luckyman has no combat skills whatsoever. Instead, he wins every battle against bizarre alien threats entirely through miraculous strokes of pure good fortune.
The series introduces an eccentric lineup of parody heroes, including Doryokuman, Victoryman, and Friendshipman. Together, they participate in absurd galactic tournaments and defend the Earth while constantly bickering in hilarious fashion.
