Robato Hatohara is a high school student affectionately nicknamed Robot due to his rigid routines and emotionless composure. He avoids sports and prefers a quiet, predictable lifestyle without unnecessary drama. Everything changes when his energetic classmate Tomoya Nakata urges him to try golfing at a local practice range.

Although Robato initially views golf as a simple mechanical exercise, his freakish physical control allows him to strike the ball with legendary accuracy.
