World Trigger

World Trigger is a sci-fi tactical action series created by Daisuke Ashihara. When a gate to another dimension opened in Mikado City, mysterious invaders called Neighbors threatened humanity until the defense organization Border repelled them. Years later, high school student Osamu Mikumo encounters Yuma Kuga, a humanoid Neighbor possessing extraordinary combat abilities.

Unlike traditional battle manga that rely on sudden power-ups, World Trigger prioritizes strategy, team composition, and precise energy resource management. Characters utilize standardized technology known as Triggers, which converted combatants' internal energy called Trion into body suits and specialized weaponry.
